Training starts back into full throttle so come along and shed some of those festive Kilos.
Thanks to all who helped out at the Xmas eve Bunnings Sausage sizzle , which was a great fun raiser for the Club, special thanks to Beth Grant for coordinating it all.

The MTRIM Junior Triathlon scheduled for today (18/12/2011) will go ahead.
While there is rain forecast for this afternoon conditions are still holding at Carey.
Registration from 12noon.
Event start time 12.30pm
See you are Carey Sport Ground (Bulleen Rd, Bulleen)

The school year is at an end. Christmas is around the corner and the MTRIM Junior Triathlon season continues on Sunday, 18 December.
Note: If there is rain about on the day we will place a notice on our web site by 11.00am as to whether the triathlon will go ahead.
Event 2: Sunday, 18 December 2011
Time: Register from 12.00pm. Events commence 12.30pm
Place: Carey Grammar Sports Grounds - Bulleen Rd, Bulleen.
Cost:
*Individual single race: $25
*Individual series entry: $80
*Family single race (two or more children): $40
*Family series entry (two or more children): $120
Distances
*25m swim - 1.5km ride - 400m run
*50m swim - 1.5km ride - 400m run
*100m swim - 3km ride - 800m run
*200m swim - 6km ride - 1.2km run

Good news. The MTRIM Junior Triathlon scheduled for today (27/11/2011) will go ahead.
We have been down to the course and spoken with the Carey staff and we are ok to run the event.

Weather Update: We have received a call from Carey Grammar indicating they have received substantial rain overnight. We may still be able to use an alternate course (at Carey) for our first event of the season. A notice will be placed on the web site by 11.00am Sunday as to whether the event can proceed.
We are certainly hoping we can still kick off the MTRIM Junior Triathlon season in style tomorrow....so stay tuned.
